President's Message

Dear Members of the Texas Public Purchasing Association (TxPPA):

Happy New Year! As we step into another promising year, I am filled with optimism and excitement for what lies ahead for our esteemed association. The beginning of a year is a time of renewal and growth, and it is with this spirit that I address you today.

Growth, both personal and professional, is a cornerstone of our association's mission. This year, we are committed to expanding our reach and impact, enhancing the value and opportunities we offer to each of our members. We aim to foster an environment where each member can grow in their role, enrich their knowledge, and expand their professional network. To achieve this, we will be introducing new initiatives, expanding our existing programs, and seeking fresh perspectives to drive innovation within our community.

Participation is the lifeblood of TxPPA. Our association thrives on the active involvement of its members. This year, we encourage each of you to engage more deeply with our community. Whether it be through attending events, volunteering for committees, or contributing to discussions, your active participation is essential. The strength of our association lies in the collective effort and shared wisdom of our members, and your contribution is invaluable.

Educational opportunities are a priority for TxPPA. We understand the importance of continuous learning in the rapidly evolving field of public purchasing. Therefore, we are committed to providing a variety of learning opportunities tailored to meet your needs. From workshops and webinars to our semi-annual conferences, we are dedicated to offering programs that are not only informative but also practical and relevant to your daily work.

As we embark on this journey together, I encourage you to embrace these themes of growth, participation, and educational opportunities. Let's work together to make this year a remarkable one for our association and for each of us as professionals in the field of public purchasing.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to TxPPA. I look forward to what we will accomplish together in the coming year.

Sincerely,

Victor Castillo
President, Texas Public Purchasing Association
